Global STEM Initiatives

Dr. Kethurah Williams, Director of the Graduate Assistant Mentoring Program
Howard University Academic Liaison

Graduate Assistant Scholastic Mentoring Program was established to enhance the educational experience of k-12 students by collaborating with our university partners.
It has been observed that a large number of our K-12 students when entering the middle school are not at grade level. When it comes to basic skills such as reading and mathematics there is also a need for our midlevel and high achieving students to be challenged/mentored.
